Oddly enough, I have never asked for testimonials. I really should. Instead, let me tell you about some of my favourite clients and favourite experiences.

My very first clients were a couple looking to relocate from Peterboroough to a condo in Whitby. They bought in Sailwinds in the Whitby harbour and they loved their condo. Two years later they asked me to sell that condo, and their daughter's condo at The Esplanade in Pickering, in order to combine their households. I found them a beautiful bungalow in Brooklin where they continue to live today.

My boys. I love "my boys" and when they were looking, they were open to almost anything, anywhere. As it turned out, we found them a beautiful property in Uxbridge on a treed filled oasis that is as close to paradise as you can get while still so close to urban living. They are still there and have more than doubled their investment in the property. One is a carpenter afterall. I continue to look for investment properties for them.

The city dwellers whose family was expanding. They bought in Ajax. Sold that and bought in Whitby. Sold that and bought in Brooklin. They have been my busiest clients to be sure but that is what expansion will do to you! I would like to think they are home for a while now but I also know never say never. In any case, 5 deals later, they know who to call.

Who says you can't pick your neighbours? I had clients who lived beside each other in Pickering. I sold their starter homes roughly the same time, one just after the other, and lo' and behold, didn't they end up in Ajax two doors apart from one another. Gives new meaning to a small world.

What's that? You won't even look at Townhouses? What if I can prove to you that you can get more house, more land and still stay under budget with a townhouse vs a semi or detached? And what if I can win in multiples with the least amount of money? That's right, I thought so. Good choice! And again, proving another end unit townhouse is a better investment for a first time homebuyer on resale, land and more bang for the buck. What was that? Never say never? Indeed.

My trouble makers. They bought a sidesplit in south Ajax and after 2 months of construction, he has become the talk of the street. After taking down the walls and opening the living room, dining room and kitchen, which every wife has been asking their husbands for years if they could do, proved it possible. I think the talk might be different if you're the husband or the wife! Either way, the transformation increased the value of the property by over $100,000 in less than a year! He's my hero.

My familia. My daughter's best friend and her husband bought their first home together. We did such a good job finding their first home that I suspect they will never move! We looked first in the west end where he is from. We looked in Scarborough. It took a lot of convincing but I finally talked them into looking in Ajax. They were worlds apart in what they wanted. He was good with a fixer upper. She wanted new. So we settled on an updated sidesplit corner lot on a court that has proven to be the best and most fun court in south Ajax. Neighbourhoods and neighbours make the world of difference! They tell me all the time how much they love living in LA! Lower Ajax that is.

I have had some incredible experiences in my ten years. And I have the best clients ever! I can only hope my next ten years are as fulfilling and exciting as my first ten.
